Dream Come Alive

"I have a dream"                                                


I  woke up one bright morning, full of strength and youthful splendour. I have a dream to tread where the lion has not dare to tread, to take flight to the highest place where the eagles cannot reach, to dive into the deepest part where no sea creature has dare to live, to fulfil a dream dreamt by pass generations.

I have a dream but then came the glamour of darkness and fear seize my soul like the grip of death and fear tormented my soul that my spirit seems to leave my body, then I wished for death and my spirit dies within me.

I have a dream but then came the terror of darkness to torment my soul and like a mighty raging storm that swept a ship so fear swept away my dream and like a great earthquake so fear swallowed up my dream. Now I am unguarded like a mighty nation without a wall, no drive in my spirit, alive but a moving corpse, with eyes but no vision, helpless like a caged lion.

 I have a dream, full of youthful zeal, I want to pursue my dream and lay hold of that which the aged were not able to lay hold but fear tormented my soul in the dark hour and strength left me and my spirit was quiet within me. Oh! My soul why are you so tormented, then came the breaking of the dawn and light shone on me from above, then my spirit was revived within me and my soul shouted for joy, oh! Rays of hope, regalia of beauty, joy enveloped my spirit as of a new birth, my soul was enlightened and jumped  to the excited state.

Then my dream came alive within me and then came fear of the unknown to torment my spirit again but faith arouse from my spirit because light has shone on me and the mysteries of the dark hour has been revealed because the day brought to light those things hidden in the dark and my spirit continually wrestled with fear until it departs to Sheol where it came from, then the limitation brought by fear left me.

Then my soul had rest and my spirit was calm then my dream begins to develop within me but when I shall birth it forth I do not know but I Am fully assured my dream shall come forth and then shall I break forth into limelight.

Getting It Right

Redefining purpose. Just recently, after camping at the NYSC orientation camp at Adamawa. I redeployed back to Oyo state and I was posted to a govt. Secondary School at the capital. I was disappointed on getting to the school because the structure was an eyesore. I was planning on getting rejected and get a letter of request to work in a private organisation instead, but somehow I just find myself not been able to summon courage to ask for a rejection based on the fact that an accommodation would not be provided although is wasn't far from my house, I just needed an alibi. Now, skip to when school resumed back after the session break, I resumed to the school, not still feeling good about it, my first day was a interesting one, I met people especially a teacher who made me feel accepted and not odd. Lesson Learnt: I have been ruminating for several days and wondering why a group of people who are majority in a country or place will suddenly rise up and form a sect based on the ideology that they own the land and should be in control of the happenings and events that occurs there. Many at times, this ideology has been the reason for bloodshed, destruction of life and properties, economic melt down, famine and many more. The climax of this is that the aftermath exceed the actual happenings, after this act and event might have been curb, it leads to high increase in depressed individual, suicide, drug abuse, malnutrition and many more, as the recipient of this happenings lose hope in life having lost all they loved and cared for.
